This lovely South Indian restaurant features nothing but the best vegetarian and vegan food you've tasted in quite a while. The bright double-front restaurant has an ambience that is relaxed and minimalish, with wooden floors and cool walls made cheery with colourful seating. Locals keep it buzzing. The South Indian menu features starters like vegetable samosas, quick-fried battered spicy cashewnuts, or lentil doughnuts in yoghurt, main courses gorgeous dosas (sort of Indian crepes) offered with a variety of fillings, like seasoned potato, onions, and peas, served with lentil soup and coconut chutney, or one of the special dishes like chickpeas in tomato and ilght masala sauce.
