Meadfoot Bay Hotel was built in 1850 as a Victorian Gentlemans Residence and is situated in the conservation area of Meadfoot, just north of Torquay harbour. In Meadfoot the Victorian atmosphere of quiet respectability meets more modern days with taste and charm. Whilst the hustle and bustle of Torquay's day and night life, with its busy restaurants, pubs and clubs, is just a 10 min stroll away, the tranquillity of Meadfoot will ensure that your stay at our Guest House will be a relaxing and memorable one. Restaurant We pride ourselves on Home-cooking, where the freshest of ingredients and vegetables are used to prepare traditional fayre. With the help of our suppliers COAD Wine Cellars we have produced an inspired collection of wines from around the world. Bar & TV Lounge You can relax in our spacious and comfortable Television Lounge that is available for guests to use at any time, and enjoy the company of friends or fellow guests whilst enjoying a drink during the evening in the Bar Lounge. Both rooms retain the style and decorative features from the Victorian era with sash bay windows, 13-foot ceilings and decorative cornices and doorways. The Bar Lounge is separated into two areas with a combined seating capacity of 30 and our Bar has a good selection of wines, beers, spirits and liqueurs.
