Jocks Bar takes its name from the name given to soldiers in the Black Watch and other Scottish regiments in the British Army. The Black Watch was perhaps one of the most famous and recruited from the local area. In addition to providing a broad selection of beers, spirits, wines and soft drinks, the bar offers a wide range of freshly cooked hot dishes, salads and puddings in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Basil's Restaurant is an elegant setting in which to enjoy our varied menus that feature a subtle blend of continental and traditional Scottish dishes. Our well stocked cellar carries an impressive selection of old and new world wines. The courtyard cocktail bar, adjacent to the restaurant, is the ideal venue for pre-dinner drinks.
