The off street parking bay is well lit, and overlooked by adjacent houses/flat windows and based within a private residents only [more] court yard. The parking is based on the Number 4 bus route into York, and 20 mins walk from York Race Course. A taxi to York Station will cost approx £5, therefore this makes the idea spot to park to avoid paying over-valued parking at the adjacent station for a number of days. 15 mins walk away provides access to local facilities/shops/banks. The parking bay is also ideal if you live nearby and lack offsite parking, or simply wish to park in a more secure location.
